Arnhem, on the Portaal apartment complex, you can admire a huge, realistic wall
painting from Australian graffiti artist Fintan Magee. They watch as his murals
keep growing, almost surreally. Fintan is not afraid of tackling large-scale
projects. His work in Arnhem is relatively small by his standards.
His work is about climate
change, a topic he considers appropriate for the Netherlands, which lies below
sea level. On its own, and unlike most street art, this work has no political
message. Fintan’s murals can be interpreted in many ways and invite

school in 2009, his work has appeared in public spaces throughout Australia,
but also on the walls of derelict locations in Brisbane, where his career as a
guerrilla graffiti artist began.
